Britte Bouchaut presented at S. Net Conference

From June 25th until the 27th, the annual S.NET conference took place. This year, Maastricht University provided an excellent location for scientists and other peers to meet and exchange ideas regarding the studies of new and emerging technologies. During this conference, Britte Bouchaut presented her ideas and preliminary results of her first paper of the T-TRIPP project. This first paper aims at gaining an insight in the different perceptions of the concepts ‘risk’, ‘safety’, and ‘inherent safety’ in the bioengineering field. In other words, how do different stakeholders in the bioengineering field perceive, or understand these concepts, and to what extent do these align with literature. Moreover, what kind of consequences does this have for e.g. responsibility allocation within an (biotechnological) innovation chain?
